The Challenge. Whether you’re a man or a woman, shopping with your significant other in a store where you don’t want anything at all is tough. Especially for men. Need a proving? Check an Instagram account “Miserable Men”.  It collects and posts funny memes and photos of the best husbands and boyfriends shopping with their ladies and the all-consuming boredom they endure.

What to do while your significant other shops is a question that men have had to deal with since the birth of a shopping mall.

The Idea. Waiting has never been so exciting! – that was the slogan of our experiential marketing campaign.

The Solution. In January, during the winter sales period, in MEGA Shopping and Leisure Centre we have installed The Dream Lounge for those who were waiting while their significant others were on a shopping spree, sometimes for hours.

Making it Extraordinary. The Dream Lounge was fully equipped with comfortable furniture, board and active games, and even free bar of coffee and non-alcoholic beer!  Additionally there were many more different activities organised by our sponsorship partners on weekends, such as table tennis & pull ups contests, VR & board games competitions, new car presentations, and pop quiz. Finally, men had a way to have fun while their better halves shop. And obviously, The Dream Lounge translated well to women who were bored of shopping as well.
